Singleton Boating Lake BDAC - Dashboard
It has a natural head of roach, bream, tench, perch, crucian and mirror/common carp
With an average depth of 18" to 3ft you'd be forgiven for thinking there's not much in there. However, it has a natural head of roach, bream, tench, perch, crucian and mirror/common carp. Bream run to 5lb+ while the carp run to well past 20lb. Fish light -canal style -for the silvers, using maggots, pinkies, caster, hemp or bread/punch on the hook. Groundbait can work but dont over do it. Match catches have been up to 20lb+ on some occasions
There's a lot of light weed in there in the summer and some swims need a bit of dragging first. Also, there's no fishing between 10.30am and 5.30pm when the boats are running between 1st May and 31st August.
The angling club dont stock it or baififf it but do fish matches on it on Thursday evenings.
There is no night fishing on this water as per the CCS Coarse Angling Rules.
