Brynmill & District AC - Dashboard
Brynmill & District AC run 2 waters in the Swansea EnterprisePark on behalf of the City & County of Swansea Local Authority.
We are responsible for providing a coarse angling leisure facility for the city, that caters both for the Pleasure, Specimen and Match angler alike.
To fish our waters you can either :- BUY A PERMIT
These are available from either Mainwarings Tackle of Sketty, Swansea (tel 01792/202245) or by applying to the Parks & Lettings Dept, of the City & County of Swansea tel 01792/635436. After a successful trial, permits are also now available from HR Jones in Clydach(tel 01792/842202)
All permit applications must be backed up by a passport-sized photo.We would prefer you provided this yourself, though facilities are available in Mainwarings and HR Jones for a picture to be taken of you. No application will be accepted without an acceptable photo.
BUY DAY/WEEKLY TICKETS
These can be purchased from our bailiff team who roam both the Fendrod Lake and Half Round Ponds armed with ticket books, with the aim of relieving you of your cash. All bailiffs carry official club I.D. cards.
Please note that only season ticket holders may fish overnight on the Fendrod Lake or Half Round Ponds. We no longer allow day ticket holders to fish overnight on either of our waters for fish security reasons.
The Fendrod Lake
A 13 acre lake in the heart of the Swansea Enterprise Park, 5 mins from Junct 45 of the M4.The water has been known to produce carp to 30lbs, skimmers to bream of 12lb+, tench to 7lbs, roach to 2lbs together with crucian carp, dace, ide, perch & rudd. There is an annual restocking of fish on this water. The lake has approx 75 pegs, the vast majority of which are concreted. A small number are also designed for the disabled
Half Round Ponds
These 2 ponds cover a half-acre site some 300yds from the Fendrod. The waters have produced carp to 20lb+, tench to 6lb together with perch, rudd, skimmer bream, brown goldfish and roach. All pegs are concreted of which there are currently about 35 between the 2 ponds
