The Majestic Pool is owned and run by successful local carpers Phil Sainty and Danny Fletcher. After looking for a suitable venue for many years a happy coincidence saw them come across the lake which has now become Majestic Pool. With Phil and Danny both been experienced carp anglers themselves, they know exactly what people want from a fishery and an awful lot of time and effort went in to creating the top class fishery we see today.

The lake covers three acres of water and lies within 10 acres of surrounding fields and woodland.
Dug almost 20 years ago for the clay it contained, the lake has been left to mature naturally into the well-established, reed-fringed, tree-lined venue we now have.

These fish stand head and shoulders above most others available in the country, not only because of the outstanding growth rates they can achieve but also for their breathtaking looks.
Every single fish stocked was hand-picked and every time you see a Majestic Pool carp you will probably think it's the best looking carp you have ever seen, that is until you see another of the remarkable Majestic Pool residents at least!

Rules

The rules have been kept very simple,
to ensure a pleasent environment for
both anglers and fish alike

• Stirctly NO looking round without permission
• The gate must be closed and locked at ALL times
• No cars to be driven beond the carpark
• No swimming or wading
• No Litter - all litter MUST be taken home
• No Drugs - alcohol in moderation
• No carp sacks or keepnets
• No leadcore or leaders
• Landing nets above 36" required
• Unhooking mats MUST be used
• Only fish from marked swims
• Only fish the water in front of your swim, and no further than half way
• Respect ALL wildlife
• No cutting / pruning of any shrubs or plants
• Have respect for the lake & your fellow anglers
• All BBQs must be off the ground
• No fires allowed
• ALL FISH MUST BE RETURNED TO LAKE
• Minimum 12lb BS main line
• No peas, beans or nuts to be used
• No maggots to be used
• No more than three rods to be used at any one time
• No shouting and radios MUST be kept low
• No non-fishing guests, except partner
• No fishing from boats permitted and no boat may be taken onto the lake
• Bait boats are allowed, providing that they are used sensibly

Any rules that are not obeyed will result in you being asked to leave the lake immediately!
